Did you know that 1 in 7 Moms and 1 in 10 Dads suffer from postpartum depression? Are you feeling not quite yourself or how you think you “should” be feeling while in the process of family planning, pregnancy, or postpartum? You might be experiencing a Perinatal Mental Health Disorder.

While many parents and caregivers experience some mild mood changes while pregnant or postpartum, 15-20% of women experience more severe depression or anxiety. Parents of every age, race, socioeconomic status, and culture can develop Perinatal Mental Health Disorders. Symptoms can start anytime during pregnancy and the first 12 months following birth.
